Being a queer woman in Nigerua can mean constantly watching your back, even online.
Abusive induvuduals, gangs and even family members may try to catfish, attack and “convert” you because your sexuality - a practice locally as “kito.”
Eighteen women shared their tramatizing experiences of rape, blackmail, violence and conversion practice. For many, this followed their search for love on the internet.
